Honeyaid® - the original honey filling system, redefined.
For more than 25 years, this filling system has been trusted by professional beekeepers around the world. What started as a practical solution for a very specific problem has become a reference in honey filling. Honeyaid was never designed as a universal filling machine. It was built specifically for honey — to ensure clean processing, precise dosing and consistent product quality in the filling process.
From real beekeeping practice to a global standard
In the late 1990s a recurring issue became obvious: conventional filling systems compromised honey quality through unsuitable pump technologies and residues.
The answer was a new approach — a precision gear pump system designed to handle honey gently, reliably and without contamination.
Presented for the first time at Apimondia in 1999 the resulting filling machine received an “Honorable Mention” for technical innovation. This solution marked the beginning of a new standard in semi-automatic honey filling.
Proven in daily use – for decades
Initially marketed under the Nassenheider® brand as the “Fill up” model the filling machine has been continuously refined. But its core principle remains unchanged: focus on reliability, simplicity and product integrity.
Thousands of machines are in operation worldwide today – many of them for 15 to 20 years and more. This long-term performance is not an exception, but a defining characteristic.
Why the original still matters
With growing demand, imitations have entered the market. However, experience from professional users shows clear differences in the aspects that matter most: consistent filling results, stable performance and long-term durability.
Honeyaid® stands for the original system — built to deliver reliable results over time, not just in theory.
Built to stay relevant
Today, Honeyaid continues to evolve — with improvements that simplify handling, reduce maintenance effort and increase operational reliability.
At the same time, the core promise remains unchanged: a filling system engineered specifically for honey and designed to protect its quality.

Rucher du Pillier is the apiary of Didier Ferlay in Châteauneuf-Loire, France, who has been producing artisan honey since 2013.
“Smooth, precise, almost meditative. With Honeyaid®, bottling the spring honey has become a real pleasure — and my wrists are grateful. When simple technology serves tradition, everybody wins.”
Imkerei in Dinklar is the joint venture of Julia Rohde and Norbert Reuner, launched in June 2023 with a passion for bees and artisan quality. Alongside honey in a wide range of varieties, their product range includes mead, gin, cosmetics and spices.
“Over 650 jars of 50 g filled at an impressive pace — in just one hour and fifteen minutes. Including cleaning, we were completely done in a total of one and a half hours. Our Honeyaid® machine doesn’t just fill honey into jars; it fills them with craftsmanship too. We are grateful for technology that truly supports our work.”
MEDMORAVIA s.r.o. is a Czech beekeeping business established in 2009, operating its own apiaries and handling production entirely in-house. The company stands for one thing above all: authentic regional products, gently processed and uncompromising in quality.
“We have been filling with Honeyaid® since 2009 — back then still the Nassenheider Fill Up 2. More than fifteen years later, the machine runs as reliably as ever. In 2023, we took that trust to another continent: at our trade fair stand in Lubango, Angola, we presented the Honeyaid® to visitors alongside the founding of our subsidiary MEDMORAVIA AFRIKA. You don’t recommend a machine on another continent unless you truly believe in it.”
Landimkerei Gutzeit in Großdobritz near Meißen is dedicated to the protection of the Dark European Honeybee (Apis mellifera mellifera) — the only native honeybee in Germany, once extinct in the country. Jan Gutzeit keeps bees according to Mellifera principles and has been active since 2014 as founder and chairman of the Bundesverband Dunkle Biene Deutschland e.V. Honey, queens and nucleus colonies are available seasonally.
“Keeping the Dark European Honeybee means carrying a special responsibility — for an animal that was once extinct in Germany and only reestablished with the help of surviving populations from abroad. The technology you use has to measure up to that. Since 2019, I have been filling my honey with Honeyaid®, and what I value most is simple: it reliably does what it is supposed to do — no fuss, no failures. That gives me the headspace for what truly matters.”
