The New Latch Flange on the Honeyaid®

Small Change. Big Difference.

Anyone who has ever had to refill the pump head in the middle of the bottling process knows the feeling: two M6 screws out, flange removed, elbow pipe detached – and all of that before you can continue. Cumbersome, time-consuming, frustrating.

That’s a thing of the past.

The Latch Flange: Brilliantly Simple

The new elbow on the Honeyaid® now features a latch flange – secured with two wing nuts instead of the classic M6 screws. The principle is simple: loosen the nuts, turn the flange briefly, remove the elbow. No full unscrewing, no lost small parts, no fiddling.

Refill, clean, restart – everything is now faster and easier.

No Valve. No Problem.

Many competitors have tried to solve the same issue with an extra valve. Sounds practical, but it comes with new risks: more components, higher costs, and most importantly, the risk of drawing in air. Anyone who has seen a bottling process stall or fail completely due to air bubbles knows: that’s not a solution, that’s a compromise. Our approach was different: no new component, just an existing one improved. The latch flange isn’t a makeshift fix. It’s smart thinking with the customer in mind.

This improvement is now standard on all new Honeyaid® machines. Older models can be easily upgraded – the retrofit kit is available directly in our webshop.
