Our Combined Honey Filling Stations Auto M and Auto S
For those looking to automate honey filling our rotary table machines offer an immediate and significant time-saving solution. Comprised of the Honeyaid® honey filling machine paired with a rotary table, these filling stations provide not only a more efficient honey-filling process but also long-term economic benefits through optimized workflows.
With the combined filling systems you can fill up to 400 containers of 500 grams each.
For beekeepers processing batches of around 50 kg or more the Honeyaid® Auto M combined with the mobile turntable 100 cm diameter is ideal. The rotating table with a collection function can hold up to 65 x 1.0-liter bottles or 500-gram jars (25 empty, 40 filled). The turntable is equipped with a side outlet, adjustable machine feet and an optional container sorter, making it possible to connect it to a conveyor belt and additional production steps, such as jar feeding, capping and labeling. Included is a capacitive sensor that detects honey jars, stopping the table for filling under the filling nozzle of the machine. The Auto M table’s rotation speed is adjustable from 0.4 to 7.5 RPM.
Even with the smaller Honeyaid® Auto S combination you can fill honey semi-automatically, quickly and precisely. The compact Honeyaid® Auto S turntable has a diameter of 65 cm and provides storage space for e. g. 45 x 250 g jars (19 empty, 26 full). This turntable is available as a table model or with a mobile stand. The Auto S combination is also specifically designed for containers with a small opening diameter. Like the Auto M combination it can be connected to a collection turntable or a conveyor belt, with the transition plate for conveyor connection included. A capacitive sensor for jar detection is also included in this set. The adjustable rotation speed of the smaller combination ranges from 0.4 to 4.5 RPM.
Efficiency of Automated Filling
The efficiency of the combined filling systems, compared to a tabletop device, is primarily due to the time savings achieved. Tasks such as positioning the jars, waiting for the filling process and removing the jars are handled by the rotary table and sensor. The saved time can instead be used to cap and label the jars.
How does it work?
First, the empty jars are placed on the rotary table, where they are automatically guided under the filling nozzle. A sensor detects the jar’s position, stops the table and initiates filling with the pre-set amount of honey. Once the jar is filled the table resumes movement until the next jar is detected, stopped and filled. Filled jars accumulate in the center of the table and can be manually removed from there. Alternatively, with a connected conveyor belt, filled jars can be directed immediately to the next processing step.
